Oxbridgelife is a networking facility for everybody who is currently studying at - or has already graduated from - Oxford and Cambridge.

Oxbridgelife is orientated around five aspects of life during and after university: studying, socialising, doing business, seeking romance and finding employment.  The site is therefore organised into five channels: Study Life, Social Life, Business Life, Love Life and Jobs Life.

Click the coloured tabs at the top of the screen to browse around.

New members register an initial profile about themselves, common to Study Life, Social Life and Business Life.  Members are invited later to register a separate profile in each of Love Life and Jobs Life.

Membership is completely free for both students and alumni.

Click the ‘Register’ links on the navigation bar on the bottom left hand side of the screen to become a member.

You can search the profiles of other members in each of the channels.  And other members can also search for you.

Click one of the channel tabs at the top of the screen now to perform a search.

Members can control who can see their details and who can contact them by switching "on" and "off" their profile for any or all of the channels.  Each channel is independent of the others - so you can tailor your preferences to suit your current situation.

For example, if you initially registered a profile with Lovelife, but have subsequently found a partner, you would probably want to turn off your "Love Profile".

When registered, click My Profile Manager on the left hand navigation bar to see the status of your profiles within each channel.

You can contact any member you find in a search by email or text. In doing so, messages will be sent to their inbox within the site, and a copy will be stored in your outbox.

Unless you choose to do so, neither your full name nor your personal contact details (such as your personal email address or mobile number) will be revealed.  The recipient can reply to you using the site, or directly to you if you have provided them with the means to do so.

You can chat directly to any member who is currently on-line by clicking the chat icon within their profile.

Once you have registered, click My Mailbox on the left hand navigation bar to see the how the mail system works.

Oxbridgelife respects the privacy of its members.

Oxbridgelife’s web-site carries no advertising or banner promotions, nor does it conspire with companies to bombard members with unwanted offers.  The web site is exclusively a private forum for its members and not a sales tool to be exploited by those who covet the spending power of the Oxbridge community.
